Biblical Tour of Israel
It’s that time of the year again, where we pick put together the group for the Israel Biblical Tour. The Biblical Tour of Israel includes the Negev, Eilat, and optional tour to Petra.

The Tour
Day 1 – Departure
Departure from the U.S. to the Holy Land.
Day 2 – Holy Land
Our representatives will welcome you to the Holy Land and you will transfer to the hotel on Jerusalem for dinner and overnight.
Day 3 – Jericho, Bethlehem and Qumran.
In Jericho, we visit the ruins of the Old City which was conquered by Joshua (Joshua 6:1-2, 20). In Jericho, you can see the traditional place of the Temptation of Jesus (Matthew 4:1-11). Today you can visit the way from Jericho to Jerusalem by several kilometers of twists and rises from beneath sea level up to the mountains of Judea. Jesus walked this path of ancient Rome and it was the location for the story of Good Samaritan (Luke 10:30-36).
We will travel to Qumran, the place where they found the Dead Sea Scrolls to talk about the mysterious community of Esenios who existed in the neighborhood of the Dead Sea. We will travel to Bethlehem to explore the cave which is venerated as the place where Jesus was born (Matthew 1:8-25, Luke 2:1-7). Participate in a Mass at the Church of Santa Catarina. Nearby we will see the Shepherds’ Field where He first heard the Good News.

Day 4 – Jerusalem
Observe the view from the Mount of Olives, as our Lord Jesus Christ has done, and we will enjoy the extraordinary view of the “Golden City” of Jerusalem, including the Temple of the Rock Mountain. We will visit the Church of the Assumption, where forty days after his resurrection Jesus came down from heaven to the Mount of Olives (Acts 1:9-12). Visit the Garden of Gethsemane where Jesus prayed and waited the will your Father (Matthew 26:36-44).
We will visit The House of the High Priest Caiaphas (Matthew 26:57-65) where Jesus was imprisoned overnight. Participate in a Mass at St. Peter’s Church of Gallicanto. Visit Cenacle revered as the place of the Last Supper (Mark 14:12-26).

Day 5 – Ein Karem and Emmaus
We will travel to Ein Karem where Mary visited Elizabeth before the birth of the Lord and will be celebrated Mass in the Church of the Visitation. We will continue to Emmaus, traditional place where Jesus appeared.

Day 6 – Jerusalem and the Old City
Touch the wall of the temple and make prayers for World Peace at the Wailing Wall. Walk through the Cardo, the main street of Old Town shops containing partially restored. We will look closely at the Pool of Bethesda (John 5:1-31) where Jesus healed a paralytic .We will sing a hymn in the Church of Santa Ana. We will visit the Fortress of Antonia Herod (Matthew 27:11).
Also commemorating the events of the last hours of Jesus’ life as we walk along the Via Dolorosa, the “Way of the Cross,” and will celebrate the Mass of the Resurrection Church of the Holy Sepulcher.

Day 7 – Masada and Dead Sea
Explore at your own Masada (additional cost), the spectacular fortress built on top of a mountain made famous by Herod as a last bastion of Jewish rebellion against the Romans. A cable car will take them to the top to exploring the area. We will see the remains of the Roman Campos. If time permits we will make a quick stop on the shores of the Dead Sea. Those who wish may enter into salt water which is rich of minerals.

Day 8 – Caesarea, Nazareth and Mount Tabor.
We will visit the Roman Aqueduct and Theatre and Caesarea, center of early Christianity. Here Cornelius was the first non-Jewish man who espoused the new religion (Acts 10) and where Paul was imprisoned before being taken to Rome for trial. We ascend Mount Tabor, site of the Transfiguration of Jesus (Matthew 17:2). We will celebrate Mass at the Basilica of the Annunciation and visit the house in Nazareth where Jesus spent his childhood (Luke 1:26-56). Visit the home of the Holy Family, Jesus, Joseph and the Virgin Mary (Luke 2:41-52, Matthew 2:19-23).

Day 9 – Galilee
We will travel to Capernaum. Jesus chose the place as the center of his ministry. Next we will visit the synagogue, where the Lord taught and worshipped (Matthew 4:13, Mark 3:1, 8:5 and 14). With Bible in hand, we will navigate through the waters of the Sea of Galilee with Kinnereth Sailing Company. During the crossing participate in a special religious service. We will visit Kibbutz Nof Ginnosar where the “Barque of Jesus,” an excellent example of class of vessel can be seen. We will travel to Mount Beatitudes where Jesus Christ preached (Matthew 5-7) and participate in a Mass. We will visit the church in Tabgha where Jesus performed the miracle of the Multiplication of the Loaves and Fishes (John 6:1-69). Also visit the First Church of St Peter (John 21:1-19), where the stone known as “Mensa Christi” (the Table of Christ)is located. Here, Jesus appeared to the Apostles after his Resurrection (John 21:9-13) and commanded Peter to “lead my sheep” (John 21:15-19). Remember your baptism at the Jordan River.

Day 10 – Departure flight or Tel Aviv
Shortly after the breakfast, we will depart from Tiberias to the Ben Gurion International Airport. We will be officially greeted by our representatives at the airport before departure.
Those how take extension to Jordan will have transfer to Tel Aviv.

Day 11 – Amman
Shortly after breakfast, we will depart from Tel Aviv and drive to Sheik Hussein border. We will cross the border from the Holy Land to Jordan. Meet and assist at the border. Transfer to Amman. We will have city tour at Amman, visit the Roman Theater, the Citadel and Museum.
Dinner and overnight at Amman hotel.
Day 12 – Petra
Shortly after breakfast, we will depart from Amman and drive via Desert Highway to Petra. Visit Petra sites.
Dinner and overnight at Petra hotel.
Day 13 – Petra
Shortly after breakfast, we will depart from petra and drive to Mount Nebo and Madaba.
Transfer to Allenby Bridge cross to the Holy Land. Transfer to the airport for the departure flight.
