Recife

Capital of Pernambuco is the fourth largest metropolitan area in Brazil and is host to one of the main ports in the Atlantic Ocean. The charming and far more tranquil historic town of Olinda lies on Recife’s northern edge, just 6km from the city center, and many visitors opt to stay in Olinda and Recife visit during the day, or into Recife venture for its animated nightlife.
