Natal, Rio Grande do Norte, Brazil
Natal is the capital and largest city of Rio Grande do Norte state, located in northeastern Brazil. Due to its geographical location, which forms a vertex northeast of South America, Rio Grande do Norte is considered one of the “corners” of Brazil and the continent, a position that also gives it a large projection of the Atlantic (the largest among Brazilian states). Its coastline, with a length of approximately four hundred kilometers, is one of the most famous of Brazil. Because of its semi-arid climate in the northern part of the coast, Rio Grande do Norte is responsible for producing over 95% of the Brazilian salt.
