Brazilian Paradise
A trip to Fernando de Noronha is comparable to a dream come true. It is a marine park located 350km (217mi) from the nearest coast (Natal) and 545km (338mi) from Recife. The 21 islands were formed by volcanic activity approximately 212 million years ago. The area of the main island is 26km² (10 sq mi) and it is fringed by deserted sandy beaches, some of the most beautiful beaches in the world. If you are passionate about wildlife and diving, then you will love the archipelago of Fernando de Noronha.
Climate
There are two predominant seasons: the dry season, which runs from September to February and rainy, with occasional rainfall, from March to August. There is little variation in temperature during the year, maintaining an average of 28º C (82° F), with lots of sunshine and a refreshing breeze.
